Arizona’s College and Career Ready Standards (AZCCRS), Strengthening Instructional Leadership in Mathematics : A Collaboration of the Three State Universities, County Superintendents’ Offices, and School Districts Implementing the Math AZCCRS in Schools Across Arizona.

The Arizona College and Career Ready Standards (AZCCRS) in mathematics present a unique opportunity to improve instructional leadership for mathematics in schools across Arizona. Successful implementation of the AZCCRS in mathematics will require schools, universities, the Arizona Department of Education (ADE), and other education stakeholders to work together in developing an effective professional development approach that prepares instructional leaders to provide high-level support for AZCCRS math instruction and informs the continuous improvement of curricula in college of education leadership preparation programs statewide.
