AZCCRS Shifts and Overview/Systemic Change

  1. The participants will be able to explain the key shifts in the standards; focus, coherence and rigor and the instructional shifts in teaching and learning necessary for implementation of the ACCRS-Mathematics using language appropriate for stakeholders both in and out of the educational community.
  2. Participants will be able to identify student actions that demonstrate the eight mathematical practice standards and also the necessary teacher practices which allow students to opportunity
  3. Participants will understand the processes and components needed for systemic change.
